Westminster 'assisted dying' bill - amplifying the concerns of palliative care clinicians

Drs Amy Proffitt (London), Matt Dore (Northern Ireland) and Victoria Wheatley (Wales) will speak about their concerns about assisted dying, the problems with this bill, and what we can do about it.

Tuesday 3rd June 8-9pm

Health professionals with who provide care and support for dying people are key in the ‘Assisted Dying’ debate.

We know that a thoughtful discussion with a clinician is highly effective in informing MPs about the problems with assisted suicide.

Join leading UK Palliative care doctors on Zoom to hear their concerns about the Westminster Assisted Suicide bill and strategies to impact MPs before the anticipated in House of Commons votes likely on 13th and 20th June.

All clinicians are welcome. Many of the themes will affect those in other specialties, and it is a real opportunity to engage with your colleagues who may not have been involved in the debate so far. Please do invite friends and colleagues.

Certificate of attendance will be provided for CPD portfolios.
